ATAG Keukentechniek BV, was the origin of the ATAG Group NV and the ATAG Kitchen Group BV. The main assignment as general manager was to develop a successful new program kitchen appliances, having limited means, in order to financially support the expansion of the ATAG Kitchen Group. The responsibility over the complete company with a staff of 560, changed by a new group structure, with a matrix organization and shared responsibilities,
Despite this limitation of influence the Magna-program was developed, which was base don existing technology, and resulted into an improved positioning of ATAG in the market.
In the competitive national and international markets, the turnover stabilized, but the margin and profit developed extremely well, especially duet o the restructured program.
The core of this success was a culture change, focusing on markets instead of products The total turnover responsibility was about 140 million euro.
Confronted with a financially struggling parent company, I presented a profit improvement plan for the total ATAG Kitchen Group, which unfortunately could not be implemented, and so finished my assignment.
